What we collect
When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you type into it: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the subject you select, and your message. That is all. We do not ask for anything else and we have no way to see anything you do not send us.
How we use it
We use it to reply to you and to follow up on what you asked about. If you tell us you want to volunteer, we may keep your note so a committee member can contact you about volunteering. That is the extent of it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We do not share it with other campaigns, committees, or vendors for their own use.
- We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Service providers
This website is hosted by Netlify, which also handles our contact form and screens it for spam. Messages you send through the form are stored in our Netlify account and emailed to the committee. Netlify processes this information only to deliver the service and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.
Contributions
Political contributions are handled by a separate, dedicated payment processor, not by this website — we never see or store your payment card details.
Please be aware that political contributions are a matter of public record. Illinois law requires political committees to report contributions to the Illinois State Board of Elections, including the contributor's name and, above certain amounts, address, occupation, and employer. Those reports are published by the State. This is a legal requirement, not a choice we make, and it applies no matter how you give.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Accessibility
We want this site to work for everyone, including people using screen readers or keyboard navigation. If you hit something that does not work for you, please tell us and we will fix it.
